Once you have your hands on a Void Egg, you’ll need to work on triggering the mission to begin. Ensure that the Void Egg is in your inventory (and maybe have some extra space for items you find) and begin warping around the galaxy. It doesn’t really matter where you decide to warp to because the quests will be triggered by how many times you warp. Players have mentioned that it has taken them a different number of warps to get the Void Egg to kick in, so the range of warps tends to be between 3 and 12. When you warp to different systems, be sure to wait 30 seconds to see if a transmission comes in. It’s unclear whether or not the Void Eggs are tied to distance warped or if conditions are just different for each player, so keep warping until those eggs start to sing! With its song, you’ll get a transmission with an important message and will have initiated the Melody of the Egg quest! … [Read more...] about How to hatch a living ship in No Man’s Sky

Watch on Netflix Easy A (2010) When high-school student Olive Penderghast (Emma Stone) lies to her best friend Rhiannon (Aly Michalka) about a weekend date to get out of a camping trip, Olive’s fib balloons into some campus-wide grapevine talk about who Olive is sleeping with. Initially displeased with her newfound attention, Olive decides to embrace her new stigma of “school tramp” when Brandon (Dan Byrd), another one of her friends, asks Olive to pretend to sleep with him so his peers will stop questioning his sexuality. The two seal the deal (a few fake moans behind a closed bedroom door), much to the frustration of Marianne Bryant (Amanda Bynes), the school’s church group leader that wants to “cure” Olive. In retaliation, Olive turns Brandon’s bedroom fake-out into a business plan: Pretend to sleep with guys in exchange for gift cards and other rewards. Sorry to Bother You (2018) The directorial debut of Boots Riley (perhaps better known as the frontman of the hip-hop band The Coup), Sorry to Bother You is a madcap satire of 21st-century capitalism, a film that tosses realism out the window within the first 10 minutes or so. The movie follows Cassius Green (Lakeith Stanfield), a sad-sack guy who, desperate for money, gets a job as a telemarketer at a grimy office (he lies about his previous work experience, which his interviewer considers a positive). Cassius struggles to make sales, so an older coworker (Danny Glover) gives him some advice, telling him to use a “white voice.” After using a white voice (David Cross), Cassius suddenly starts racking up sales and soon gets a promotion to the esteemed position of Power Caller. As he climbs the corporate ladder, however, Cassius risks losing his soul to the relentless machine of marketing. Sorry to Bother You makes use of some bonkers visuals to accompany its eccentric … [Read more...] about The 47 best movies on Hulu right now
Best hidden gems on Xbox One
Sunset Overdrive Unlike most other games that can be called hidden gems, Sunset Overdrive actually got showcased during Microsoft’s E3 presentation before it launched. It was a surprising and intriguing game for a few reasons, most notably the developer. Insomniac, at the time, was a third-party studio but had almost exclusively worked with Sony on series like Spyro the Dragon, Ratchet and Clank, and Resistance, so seeing Microsoft purchase the exclusive rights to this new third-person shooter was fairly shocking. Unfortunately, that intrigue didn’t translate to sales. Sunset Overdrive was marketed as being anything but a traditional shooter and succeeded in that promise. The game is set in the post-sodapocalypse that caused the population to turn into mutants after drinking a new energy drink and only gets more insane from there. The freedom in traversal you have across the map via grinding and parkour, plus all the creative weapons Insomniac is known for, … [Read more...] about Best hidden gems on Xbox One
Everything we know about Elden Ring
Release date and platforms Elden Ring is going to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. No release date has been revealed yet, but at one time we believed it would launch sometime in 2020, as described by a Target listing and a posting on FromSoftware’s own website. However, we haven’t heard much in terms of an update on its development, and we’re nearing the end of 2020, so it’s more likely we’ll see it sometime next year, perhaps as a summer game — or even later. … [Read more...] about Everything we know about Elden Ring
