It’s not unusual for Motorola to release a lot of phones, and it can be difficult to work out what the differences between them are. The current G range is a perfect example because Motorola released the Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play a while back, but neither is coming to the states. Instead, the U.S. gets the Moto G Power and the Moto G Stylus. There’s no sign of the plain old Moto G8 yet, and the 8 has been dropped for the new Power and Stylus varieties. Design, display, and durability There are inevitably a lot of similarities between these Samsung siblings, but the S20 Plus is smaller, lighter, and has a more rounded design than the Note 10 Plus. Both have curved glass backs with camera suites at the top left, though the S20 Plus camera module is much bigger — more on the reasons for that later. The front of each phone is almost completely screen with a hole punch front-facing camera top and center. The Galaxy Z Flip’s main camera captures great color and detail in most situations, particularly well-lit scenes, though it can get caught doing a bit of over-sharpening. As was the case with 2019’s flagship phones, I rank Samsung third behind the iPhone and Pixel devices in terms of all-around quality, but that’s not a serious issue.
