Samsung Galaxy S21+ Score Details DT Recommended Product “The Galaxy S21+ 5G is a classier, bigger version of the S21, and while it has excellent quality, it doesn't drastically improve on the S20+, or reach the heights of the S21 Ultra.” Classy metal-and-glass body Stunning screen performance Capable camera Lacks a 2021 flagship camera S21 Ultra is substantially better in many ways MSRP $999.99 If the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is the best Android phone you can buy right now, and the Galaxy S21 5G has all the right ingredients but can’t quite pull them together, where does this leave the Galaxy S21+ 5G? It’s right in-between in price and mixes the S21’s lackluster specs up a bit, yet still doesn’t quite match the S21 Ultra for outright high-tech appeal. Is the Galaxy S21+ the confused middle child, or a bit of a star waiting for its moment to shine? Because the Galaxy S21+ is almost identical to the Galaxy S21 in software, … [Read more...] about Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5G review: Not as good as one, but better than the other

Raya and the Last Dragon review: Martial arts and fantasy merged beautifully
Walt Disney Animation Studios has never shied away from putting its own spin on popular genres, whether it’s the superhero-inspired Big Hero 6 or the gaming fantasy of Wreck-It Ralph . And, by and large, those forays have all managed to cast the Disney magic that makes them critical and commercial hits. With Raya and the Last Dragon , Disney tries its luck with a new genre: The martial arts hero’s journey. And much like the aforementioned films, Raya finds inspiration in all the right places, and imbues it with the sort of emotional weight and bright, fantastic aesthetic we’ve come to expect with Disney’s big-screen adventures. In a world … Directed by Don Hall ( Big Hero 6 ) and Carlos López Estrada ( Blindspotting ), Raya and the Last Dragon follows a young warrior, Raya (voiced by Star Wars actress Kelly Marie Tran), as she sets out to reverse the damage done to the fractured world of Kumandra by the sinister creatures known as Druun. Along the way, she … [Read more...] about Raya and the Last Dragon review: Martial arts and fantasy merged beautifully
Apple offering free repairs for some Apple Watch owners facing charging issue
Some Apple Watch owners have been having trouble charging their device after it enters the battery-saving Power Reserve mode, and now Apple is offering a free repair in particular cases. According to a recently posted document on Apple’s support pages, the issue affects “a very small number of customers” with a Watch Series 5 or SE device running watchOS 7.2 or 7.3. If you have either of these models, you should first — if possible — update your Apple Watch’s software to watchOS 7.3.1, which should prevent the issue from occurring with Series 5 and SE devices that haven’t already experienced it. To find out if your Apple Watch is affected by this issue, the company tells you to place your smartwatch on the charger that you normally use and then wait for at least half an hour. If your Apple Watch fails to begin charging, you should contact Apple Support to set up a mail-in repair free of charge. The tech company notes that your Apple smartwatch will be examined prior to … [Read more...] about Apple offering free repairs for some Apple Watch owners facing charging issue
Garmin Lily review: Fashionable fitness watch with a few shortcomings
Garmin Lily Women’s Fitness Classic Smartwatch Score Details “The Garmin Lily brings much-needed feminine flair to a mostly masculine fitness watch market.” Stylish, classic look Pulse oximeter Outstanding sleep and wellness tracking Decent battery life Grayscale display No onboard GPS No music storage MSRP $250.00 Smartwatches are typically built for function and not fashion, which is why the Garmin Lily stands out. With its slender styling and feminine color choices, the Lily has been carefully crafted with women in mind. Garmin hits the mark when it comes to appearance with the Lily, but surprisingly falls a bit short in features. Petite size is perfect There is little doubt that Garmin can make monstrous GPS watches, but the Lily shows that Garmin can successfully downsize, too. Its petite round face (34.5mm) and slim 14mm band make the Lily ideal for women. It fits my wrist perfectly and is among the most comfortable … [Read more...] about Garmin Lily review: Fashionable fitness watch with a few shortcomings
The best 5G phones for AT&T
What a difference a year makes, especially for 5G. The new mobile network tech, which seemed almost futuristic a year ago, is widely available today, especially in big cities where the 5G rollout has been prioritized. As such, the AT&T 5G network has expanded and covers more than 14,000 cities and towns throughout the U.S. (see our 5G coverage map for details). If you have 5G coverage, it’s likely on a sub-6 network, which is more available right now. Sub-6 relies on lower frequencies to deliver a larger wireless network, but with a tradeoff in speed, which may be only marginally faster than 4G. Another 5G variant called mmWave (millimeter wave), differs in that the network’s radio waves are much faster than sub-6 networks, offering multi-gigabit speeds at various points. It relies on frequencies that can travel short distances but cannot penetrate obstacles like walls or windows. Sub-6 frequencies travel further, sometimes a distance of miles, but the connections can’t … [Read more...] about The best 5G phones for AT&T
