A COUPLE have spent more than £30,000 on graves – after losing their two baby daughters.Jodie McAtamney-Greenwood and her husband Matt, from Chessington, Surrey, were devastated when their first child, Serenity, was stillborn and their second little girl, Trinity, died shortly after birth from a heart defect.Having spent a total of £30,000 on giving them both a send-off fit for princesses, the couple now shell out £100 a week on flowers and toys to maintain their ornate resting place.Jodie, 25, told how she and Matt, 33, got married six years into their romance, having met when she was just 16.The couple couldn’t wait to start a family and began trying for a baby in 2013.Three months later, Jodie fell pregnant.She recalled: “Our pregnancy went as smoothly as you could wish.“I had the usual bouts of sickness. My cravings were burgers, despite having hating them previously.“I’d heard that having a baby was one of the most expensive things you could do.“With that in mind, Matt and I consciously saved as much as we could.“Matt was a software engineer and made good money.
